Welcome to D.W. Redmond Academic Therapy, your go-to tutoring service for students aged 4 to 104. If you or your student are facing challenges in reading, writing, or arithmetic, don’t hesitate to schedule an evaluation. With over 20 years of experience, I specialize in helping struggling learners gain the confidence they need to succeed. Be sure to check out the testimonials from both parents and students who have benefited from my services!
I hold two Master's degrees - one in Educational Leadership and one in teaching Students with Learning Disabilities aka Special Education. This includes gifted and talented students as well as those with other learning challenges.
I have two sons of my own and I was their first teacher. My eldest is a graduate of Stanford University where he majored in Economics. He is currently working on Wall Street. My other son has chosen to head off into the workplace to pursue his interest in culinary arts and music. Although they have taken divergent paths, the time I spent with them when they were children has bolstered their academic and life skills.
I want to support your child in a similar way to help them to thrive.

" Working together with Deirdre Wilson Redmond was incredibly rewarding. As a mother of a child with Dyslexia, the thought of my daughter’s academic future was daunting, but Deirdre was exceptionally supportive. She provided invaluable advice on everything from detailed techniques and study guides to daily life training models, and her
organized approach ensured hope and confidence towards a smoother academic journey. Deirdre’s guidance helped transform my daughter into a confident student to be
proud of. The attention to detail and personally customized work ethic Deirdre exhibits was particularly appreciated. Deirdre Wilson Redmond is without reservation, highly
